The Daily Journal—one of California’s preeminent legal publications—recently profiled Ellis George partner Keith Wesley and his recent promotion to managing partner of the firm. The paper described how the promotion was part of the firm’s “strategy to situation the litigation boutique for future generations.” (Click here for Daily Journal PDF article.)
Wesley described the firm’s recent growth over the past three years, from about 20 attorneys to 50. “It’s a really exciting time over here right now, especially because we’ve grown in numbers and have some real superstars on staff,” Wesley told the Daily Journal. The Daily Journal also highlighted Eric M. George, Peter W. Ross, Nathan J. Hochman (the former head of the U.S. Justice Department’s Tax Division), Thomas P. O’Brien (the former U.S. Attorney in Los Angeles), and California Governor Pete Wilson.
“I think the combination of all the new talent really takes us to new heights,” Wesley said. “I’m just honored and thrilled to have the trust of superstar partners.”
