The recent promotion of attorney Peter Ross to name partner of Ellis George Browne George Ross LLP was detailed in the Daily Journal article, “L.A. Litigation Boutique Changes Its Name.”  The firm changed its name from Browne Woods George LLP in honor of the promotion.  Having worked for the firm since its founding in 1985, Mr. Ross has earned an impressive number of litigation victories, including a $60 million verdict in a trademark infringement case last year that was the second largest intellectual property verdict in the state of California.  “I am honored by the vote of confidence.  My mission is to continue in the tradition of providing the finest legal services available in terms of strategy, research and taking matters to trial if need be,” Mr. Ross commented.
