Ellis George LLP obtained an $8.57 million verdict on behalf of Halsey Minor, the founder of CNET, against Christie’s, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Christie’s was found liable for fraud and breach of contract in connection with its refusal to return to Mr. Minor certain art works that he had previously consigned to Christie’s to sell.
