LOS ANGELES, December 21, 2020 – Ellis George announced today that it has promoted four attorneys to the partnership. The new partners, who focus on complex commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense/government investigations, and intellectual property litigation, are resident in the Century City and Downtown Los Angeles offices of Ellis Geroge.

The four new partners:
- David Carroll, a former Deputy Attorney General of the State of California, represents companies and individuals in criminal and civil proceedings brought by government entities and in internal investigations.
- Jason Kelly specializes in complex civil litigation, including securities and antitrust lawsuits, with an emphasis on class actions.
- Jimmy Michaels represents businesses and individuals in complex civil litigation and government investigations, and also maintains an active practice as an outside general counsel to emerging companies.
- Matt Venezia focuses his practice on intellectual property and trade secret litigation, primarily representing companies in the technology and life sciences industries.
