The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit today issued an opinion in favor of Ellis George client Brighton Collectibles in the matter of Sophia & Chloe, Inc. v. Brighton Collectibles, LLC. Ellis George had previously secured summary judgment in favor of Brighton on the plaintiff’s trade dress infringement and unfair competition claims. Ellis George had also earlier obtained a jury verdict in favor of Brighton on 11 of the 13 copyright claims alleged by the plaintiff. Today’s Ninth Circuit ruling made Brighton the winner of all claims in the lawsuit. Brighton was represented at trial and on appeal by Ellis George lawyers Pete Ross and Keith Wesley.
