Ellis George LLP is proud to announce that attorneys Milin Chun of the firm’s Los Angeles office and Brett D. Katz of the New York office have been promoted to Partner effective January 1, 2024.

Chun’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including consumer class actions and general business disputes, as well as defamation claims. She also has experience with civil rights, federal white-collar criminal defense and appellate matters and has represented clients in criminal investigations, including the Hobbs Act, Contraband Cigarette Trafficking Act, False Claims Act, securities fraud, money laundering, wire fraud, and tax evasion.
Katz represents U.S. and international clients in state and federal courts and before arbitral tribunals. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, where he has represented corporate clients from the investment management, fashion, arts and entertainment, sports, and technology fields, as well as high net-worth individuals. Katz also has considerable experience advising clients about and conducting foreclosures pursuant to Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code.
