Helpern successfully argued on behalf of community group “Keep Bel-Air Beautiful” for the disclosure of records related to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s (LA Metro) Sepulveda Transit Corridor project. Goorvitch of the Los Angeles Superior Court affirmed that LA Metro is subject to the California Public Records Act and must provide public documentation regarding the project or further justify their efforts to withhold information.
