Vincent H. Li is an Associate in the firm’s New York office. Prior to joining Ellis George, Vincent was part of a trial team that prevailed in recovering $410 million plus interest and costs in a busted merger break-up fee matter before the Delaware Court of the Chancery. While in law school, he interned at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he supported the investigation and litigation activities of the Microcap Fraud Taskforce.
Vincent graduated summa cum laude from NYU Stern School of Business, where he served as a teaching fellow for MBA courses in statistics. He went on to earn his J.D., cum laude at Harvard Law School where he was an Executive Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy and a member of the Federalist Society. Between college and law school, Vincent worked at an economic consulting firm, estimating damages for consumer, labor, and securities class action lawsuits and forecasting asbestos litigation liabilities.
Upon graduating law school, Vincent served as a law clerk at the United States Senate Judiciary Committee under Senator Ben Sasse’s office. Immediately afterwards, he served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Chad Readler of the Sixth Circuit United States Court of Appeals and most recently, as a judicial law clerk for Judge Laurence Silberman of the D.C. Circuit United States Court of Appeals.
