Jared A. Forbus is an Associate in Ellis George’s Los Angeles office.
Jared’s practice focuses on high-stakes, complex litigation and dispute resolution. Jared has represented clients in trade secret misappropriation, patent infringement, breach of contract, tortious interference, unfair competition, fraud, and white collar criminal defense matters across a wide spectrum of industries. He has represented clients in federal and state courts and private arbitrations, and has extensive experience with all stages of litigation, arguing motions, drafting pleadings, taking and defending depositions, preparing witnesses, and managing discovery.
Prior to joining Ellis George, Jared was a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins LLP. Jared earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was an Associate Editor of the Virginia Journal of International Law and a member of the Executive Committee of the Federalist Society. Prior to law school, Jared worked in the Philadelphia and London offices of Aberdeen Asset Management, PLC.
