Anthony Lombardo is an Associate in the San Francisco office of Ellis George LLP.
Prior to joining Ellis George, Anthony was a prosecutor in three counties in California, where he, as first-chair, handled numerous trials and procedural and evidentiary hearings. He secured a near 90% conviction rate and advocated for victims of crime, allowing their voices to be heard in the most unfortunate and vulnerable of circumstances. As a prosecutor, he obtained cross-section of expertise and litigated various areas of the criminal law: his cases ranged from simple misdemeanors to violent felonies to complex white-collar investigations. He was also assigned as the sole Assistant District Attorney handling asset forfeiture litigation in the City and County of San Francisco.
He also has an accomplished civil practice, having served as an attorney at a national AmLaw 100 law firm. There, he handled maritime, toxic tort, employment, and commercial litigation matters. He appeared at procedural and evidentiary hearings, took numerous expert and non-expert depositions, and was assigned to a trial team in a multi-million dollar civil case. At prior firm, he successfully argued a motion for summary judgment, securing dismissal of a multi-million dollar maritime case against a global ocean carrier. As a certified law student, Anthony also successfully argued a criminal appeal at the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division two.
At Ellis George LLP, Anthony handles a variety of matters, ranging from commercial disputes to entertainment cases to employment litigation.
