Alice Gilbert is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of Ellis George LLP. Since joining the firm as a clerk while attending law school, Ms. Gilbert has worked on a variety of cases in both state and federal courts on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants alike.
While in law school, Ms. Gilbert served as a judicial extern to the Honorable R. Gary Klausner in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She also worked as a law clerk at Bet Tzedek Legal Services in the organization’s employment rights division.
Ms. Gilbert served as the Chief Media and Developments Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review, spearheading the creation of an online legal news blog to accompany the journal. She was also a member of the Scott Moot Court Honors Board and twice competed in the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition, earning an accolade for brief writing. Ms. Gilbert was also selected to be an Entertainment Law Fellow, and through her experience in the fellowship program further developed her knowledge of the entertainment industry and the unique legal challenges it faces.
